Data acquisition for Speedway enters a totally new dimension: MyChron5 S 2T SW, besides sampling all your kart, midget, formula 500 or sidecar’s data. The all new Mychron 5 S 2T features all the advantages of a new concept GPS plus a lot of new functions, designed to provide more complete and reliable information.
Lap and split times, speed, RPM and two temperature as well as position on track, acceleration, slip, gear position and much more.
MyChron5 S 2T has been designed to provide either basic info to newbies and the most sophisticated data to professionals.

The new MyChron5 S 2T in appearance will be similar to the MyChron5 2T and will still use the same sensors, cables, batteries and add ons, but will have upgraded GPS, new faster processor, much larger memory, this is to add all the new features that will be able to be added over the coming weeks EG: our incorporated steering sensor internally, 25 Hz GPS, shorter download times, more superior Wi-Fi, 10g accelerometer, and we will have the LCU One lambda for air/fuel ratio added to our shift lights at the top.

The MyChron5 S 2T GpS takes advantage from an internal wide track dbase, in order to automatically understand which track you are at and how many gps splits you have set: without any further sensor or configuration you will automatically get lap times, predictive lap times and split times. GPS data, acquired ten times per second, are of course recorded with other signals in the internal datalogger, in order to offer the possibility of a deep analysis of your performance. The new Nylon chassis with metallic pushbuttons guarantees even more resistance to shocks and water. The anti-scratch non-reflecting polycarbonate screen and the wider display ensure great readability.

Define as many pages as you wish, showing graphic bars or just digits, via software or directly on your system.
Rechargeable Lithium
MyChron5 S 2T  is powered by a dedicated rechargeable – and removable – lithium battery. It is long-lasting (about 10 hours duration) and easy to recharge, placed on its magnetic basement connected to the power adapter.

Ambient Light Sensor

MyChron5 S 2T provides optimum viewing in diverse lighting conditions: the display brightness is automatically adjusted according to the environment light.

Calculated Gear Number
In case your kart is a shift kart, you can decide to show the gear number, automatically calculated in a few hundredths of meters while you are driving. Five RGB shift lights can be configured for each gear, choosing LED color and RPM threshold values which will turn them on/off. They also allow RPM monitoring in a glance.

Even alarms are managed in a very flexible way: you choose the situation that generates the alarm, the LED behaviour (blinking frequency and color) when the alarm appears and the conditions for its switch-off.

Wi-Fi connection

Download your data to your PC, look at the On Line measures, upgrade your firmware, transmit parameters using the well known Data Key or through fast WiFi connection.
